Blockbuster Alert: Meet The Thugs Of Hindostan This Diwali

Action, drama, romance and epic adventure- This Diwali is going to be grander than ever because the biggest actors of Indian cinema are coming together. The much awaited period drama Thugs Of Hindostan featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh is all set to release on Diwali this year. The Perfectionist himself released the motion logo of the movie on his social media accounts and dropped major hints about a grand cinematic experience coming our way. Being Aamir Khan’s only release for the year, Thugs Of Hindostan promises to be an extraordinary spectacle. The motion logo is brimming with magnificence. Not forgetting the background music that is adding drama to the epic tale, taking our expectations even higher.

Thugs Of Hindostan is being helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films. Aamir and Vijay have previously worked together in the 2013 action blockbuster Dhoom 3 which also featured Katrina Kaif. This will be Fatima’s second venture with Aamir after the super successful Dangal. His on screen camaraderie with both the leading ladies is also going to be worth a watch. Thugs of Hindostan is set in the backdrop of India under the British rule in the 19th century.  It is said to be inspired by Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel “Confessions of a Thug.” The story revolves around the life of a thug and his gang who challenge the British empire in the country. The period action-adventure film will hit theatres on 8th November this year.
