In 1995, Joe Johnston came up with a fantasy adventure movie that took the cinemas by storm. The movie was called Jumanji. 22 years later, Jake Kasdan is reviving the classic concept keeping in mind the present scenario and technology. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle is the standalone sequel to the cult hit. This time, the game has changed, but the thrill has not.

About Jumanji

Jumanji showed the story of two children who come across a unique magical board game. While playing the game, they meet a man called Alan who was trapped in the game. The movie showed an intriguing story of various attempts by the two kids to free Alan while facing different kinds of danger. The movie starred Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce and Bonnie Hunt.

A New Adventure

In Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, the adventure embarks when four teenagers discover an old video game. They get drawn into the game’s jungle setting and literally become the avatars that they chose. The only way to get out is to play along and finish the game.  The brand new escapade stars an all new cast including Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.

What To Expect?

As the game evolves from a board game to a video game, there will be a lot of minor and major significant elements that will make this a new age fantasy movie. Not just daredevil action, but there will be tons of comedy in the movie.

The movie comprises of a splendid star cast including everybody’s favorite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Fast And The Furious star masters every field that he enters. The actor will be seen playing a teenager who will fight for survival. His teenage avatar is already a hit. Jumanji that took storytelling to another level giving goosebumps with every sequence. The sequel promises to bring back the era when stories were the king. It looks like a movie we’ve all been waiting for. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle is also a heartfelt tribute to Robin Williams, the star of Jumanji who died in 2014. As the release of the movie is approaching, we can’t contain our excitement to witness the revival of a classic.
